A fan of the Pokemon series shares what they think the ancient versions of Cinderace, Rillaboom, and Inteleon would look like. Ever since the release of the ninth generation of Game Freak's legendary franchise, players have been imagining what both futuristic and prehistoric forms of their favorite pocket monsters would be like. This has led to very impressive new looks for a number of different Pokemon.
The starter Pokemon Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble were introduced in the eigth generation of the series. All three of these creature's final evolutions received their own Gigantamax forms in the Isle of Armor DLC along with signature attacks. One player decided to draw new takes on the three starter's final evolutions to imagine what they would have looked like some time before the games take place.
A Reddit user named Mindrawz shared their ideas for prehistoric versions of Cinderace, Rillaboom, and Inteleon. The new forms for the Pokemon not only change their appearance, but their Typings as well. Cinderace becomes a Fire/Electric-Type, Inteleon changes to Water/Dark-Type, and Rillaboom switches to Grass/Fighting-Type. Mindrawz also drew the Shiny versions of the three Pokemon, which all keep similar color palettes to the originals. The versions of the pocket monsters that the artist came up with do a great job of channeling the original designs while adding new flairs to the pocket monsters.
The three prehistoric versions of Cinderace, Inteleon, and Rillaboom that Mindrawz drew have been gaining a bit of popularity. A number of fans have stated that they love the alternate take on the Fire-Type Pokemon Cinderace, with one mentioning that they appreciate it because they did not like the creature's original design. A few said that these are what the original Generation 8 starters should have looked like, as they did not like the anthropomorphic style that the originals had.
