A Pokemon store has been popping up in London occasionally since 2019. Usually tied to an event, last year it was the Pokemon World Championships, the store will open its doors again this month alongside the Pokemon European International Championships.
The store will be open from April 14 through April 16 at ExCeL London and you'll need to make a reservation. Before you roll your eyes at having to make a booking to visit a shop, people were queuing for up to six hours just to get in back in 2019.

Pokemon introduced a system to help avoid that last year, allowing patrons to book a visit time prior to arrival or to join a virtual queue when nearby, although the system had a lot of teething problems. You'll also be able to book slots for more than just one person, making it easier for those with children who will want to visit the store. You can only book a visit for a maximum of four people at a time, though.
In the past, the London pop-up has included limited edition goodies only available to those visiting during its limited opening times. No confirmation on whether London will be getting the same treatment again, but last summer the special edition toy was Pikachu wearing a bowler hat. If you are planning on stopping by and you would be interested in an item like that, you may want to book an early slot as last year the limited Pikachu sold out very quickly.
