(Pocket-lint) — Sony regularly hosts State of Play online events to show off the latest gameplay trailers for PS5 and PS4. This latest one focuses on Gran Turismo 7 for the PlayStation 5. Here is how you can still watch the event online, plus a roundup everything Sony announced.

There was also a close look at Gran Turismo 7's dynamic weather and details about the game's haptics on PlayStation 5's DualSense controller, which can replicate differences in surface texture, engine and drivetrain vibrations, the resonance of the car body, ABS jitter, and so on. But perhaps the most interesting part of the latest State of Play was the demo of new car customisations and revelation that performance points are now based on a full simulation that factors in all the different attributes that can be adjusted.
Oh, and Gran Turismo 7 is still targeting a 4 March 2022 release date.
