As Peaky Blinders slowly draws to a close, the series creators are teasing spin-off series, leaving the door open for a perfect Alfie Solomons TV series. While Peaky Blinders was originally intended for a 7-season arc, it has now been reimagined and after Peaky Blinders season 6 finishes the series will conclude with a final movie. However, creator Steven Knight that while the main storyline for Peaky Blinders might be coming to an end, the movie will set up some spin-offs that will keep the characters and the universe alive.
Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy) first appears in Peaky Blinders season 2 as a Jewish gang leader in London’s Camden Town. He develops a tenuous working relationship with Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) as the two team up against the Italian gang led by Darby Sabini. Since his initial appearance, Solomons has played a role in every season of Peaky Blinders, although he only made a small (if important) appearance in Peaky Blinders season 5. While Alfie Solomons and Tommy Shelby could be called friends and Alfie might be one of the people who best understands Tommy, Alfie has betrayed Tommy on numerous occasions when it has best suited him.

One of the things that makes Peaky Blinders such a consistently interesting show is its ability to portray characters like Thomas Shelby who are, at best, morally gray, but ultimately fascinating individuals. Alfie Solomons epitomizes this idea and is by far the most intriguing character within a cast full of well-drawn character studies.
