Remember the good old days of Google Pay rewarding you every time you made a transaction via its platform? From mega cashback amounts of up to Rs. 2000 and several coupons as well as vouchers, Google Pay rewarded unlike any other service back in its heydays. While Google Pay does not reward like the old days anymore, it turns out that Paytm has taken over its duties.
Paytm does not reward with direct cashback to your wallet but it does offer something called “cashback points”. This is rewarded when you make transactions via Paytm UPI. Paytm says that you can win up to 500 cashback points on every transaction made via the platform. One can use these cashback point to avail coupons and deals from various vendors.
Note that the cashback points reward is available only of you make the transaction via the Paytm UPI method. The cashback points are not applicable on wallet payments. The Paytm UPI method requires to scan UPI QR codes and type in your UPI passcode to make quick and secure payment.
