Pac-Man World: Re-Pac is a remake of the original Pac-Man World with new graphics, enhanced UI, gameplay adjustments, and some character changes in Pac-Man's family. For example, the remake changed Ms. Pac-Man to Pac-Mom due to rights disputes with AtGames. However, game controls and music remain faithful to Pac-Man World. Pac-Man World Remake Video Shows How Areas 3 and 4 Have Improved
The Japanese website for Pac-Man World: Re-Pac revealed specifications about the Switch version including frame-rate, resolution, and file size. Pac-Man World: Re-Pac runs at 30 FPS on Switch while all other versions run at 60 FPS. The Switch version supports 1080p resolution in docked mode while portable mode displays a maximum resolution of 720p. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Pac-Man World Re-Pac runs at 1080p resolution. Furthermore, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X owners may play the remake at 4K resolution alongside PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners. Xbox players may upgrade their Xbox One copy to the Xbox Series X|S version through Smart Delivery as well.
