More than ten minutes of footage claiming to show early development gameplay of PlayStation’s Horizon multiplayer game has appeared online.
The footage, which was first shared on Reddit, shows stylised characters exploring and battling machine enemies. In addition to the footage, supposed artwork from the project was also posted on Reddit by the same user who shared the footage.
According to the anonymous poster, the footage is from a “very old alpha” build from summer 2020. This is said to be the same Horizon Forbidden West alpha which allegedly began circulating online last month.
One person with knowledge of the project told VGC they believed the footage and art were authentic.
