Popular Twitch streamers are often signed to big esports teams as they regularly play competitive games and their skills are easily tracked by the community and team scouts alike. Some of OpTic Gaming's recent signings include CodeMiko and JustAMinx, two popular Twitch streamers that are known for creating a wide variety of content beyond simply gaming.
Esports teams don't all stick to the competitive gameplay scene and some like Team SoloMid, NRG, 100 Thieves, and others branch out into content creation by signing popular Twitch and YouTube streamers. OpTic Gaming has just confirmed that it has four major signings from Twitch and YouTube that may contribute to a robust content pipeline. This includes the well-known Vtuber CodeMiko who's often doing reaction content or dabbling in a wide variety of things like another new signee, JustAMinx. In addition to the major aforementioned Twitch and YouTube names, the two chess whiz sisters Alexandra and Andrea Botez rounded out the new OpTic Gaming members confirmed in the announcement.

The group of four new Optic Gaming members brings with them their own impressive communities of over four million viewers combined which may mean fresh eyeballs on the growing esports brand that seems to be expanding its content creator team. Although it's likely that the four signees will join OpTic Gaming's content creation team, they could move to one of the esports lineups in the future if the coaches think they'd be a good fit for competitive Call of Duty, Halo Infinite, or Valorant.
