In the Elder Scrolls series, there are Daedric princes that serve as sort of counter gods to the main nine divines in the games. Each prince has their own realm of Oblivion, a separate dimension from Tamriel, with one of the more fascinating being the Shivering Isles, which belongs to the Daedric prince of madness, Sheogorath. In Oblivion, you are able to explore this place in the Shivering Isles DLC.

The pack brings new weapons and armor, as well as new quests to undertake. Before you can go and do all of this though, you first have to learn how to access this odd and mysterious place.
Once you have the add-on installed and wait 24 hours in the game, you'll want to make your way over to a small island located in the Niben Bay, which is southwest of the Imperial City and east of Bravil. You'll have to swim there, which is also a good way to increase your athletic skill in the game. It will be marked on the map as "A Strange Door".
After you reach the island, you will notice a strange and pretty creepy structure with three weird faces and a mouth where a portal door leads to somewhere. When you arrive, there will be a guardsman and a Khajiit woman standing nearby if you're at the proper level. In order to start the storyline properly, you must first be at least level five.
