The brand-new Horizon Forbidden West has shown that it's not above referencing other games, as it has some Easter eggs to the popular God of Waras well as a special reward for finding them all. Players can find little nods to Kratos and his latest Norse adventure across the map, and eagle-eyed fans of both series will likely delight at the small crossover. Hopefully, they'll enjoy Forbidden West that much more for its cunning references.
Horizon Forbidden West sees Aloy, the main playable character, six months after the events of Zero Dawn. The game is bigger in every way, from its enemies to its exploration. The game has grown so much that it now has room for multiple God of War Easter eggs, as well as a reward cosmetic if players are smart (or lucky) enough to find them all. Unlocking every Horizon Forbidden West mount makes it easier, as each one is scattered across the map in locales that mimic scenes from Kratos' adventures in Scandinavia.

Finally, the Totem of Brotherhood is actually two Totems in one, and bear resemblance to Brock and Sindri, the dwarves who upgrade Kratos' Leviathan Axe in God of War. Finding them all will unlock the craftable cosmetic Mark of War, which can be bought from Face Painters for a mere 10 scrap. God of War fans likely know their first goal when starting Horizon Forbidden West, and it's not unlocking the Subordinate Functions.
