Today Nintendo released their financial results for the fiscal year ending in March 2022, and as usual, it contains a few nuggets of info, among confirmations and reconfirmed release dates. According to the document, Bayonetta 3 2022 is still the plan.
It feels like it’s been a lifetime since it was teased, and the time has come to finally get it out into the world. Eight months ago the reveal trailer slapped a “2022” window on the game at the end, and as of today, they’re seemingly going to stick with that unless something catastrophic happens.
The Bayonetta 3 2022 reconfirmation wasn’t the only thing of note. Of course, those are just the marquee games that Nintendo wanted to promote the most: there are other titles coming out in 2022 and beyond. In the document, Breath of the Wild 2 still has a “spring 2023” window, Metroid Prime 4 is still “TBA,” and Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is still in a “TBA” state.
