Alan Wake Remastered is officially headed to Nintendo Switch, making it the latest remaster to find its way to Nintendo's hybrid platform.
Remedy creative director Sam Lake introduced the port during a video in which he also provided updates on Alan Wake 2 and a brand-new Alan Wake TV show. Lake and actor Ilkka Villi offered a brief glimpse of an in-development build, but provided little other information.
Previously released in October 2021, Alan Wake Remastered is the updated version of the open-world survival game first relesaed on Xbox 360. The original game was lauded for its atmosphere and a sequel is now in development.
In IGN's review we said that Alan Wake Remastered is a bit like "taking an old horror hardcover off the bookshelf and wrapping it in a glossy dust jacket." It has long since been surpassed, but it's still a "distinctive survival horror experience for newcomers."
Alan Wake Remastered does not have a release date.
