Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds features an impressive amount of exploration for a free-to-play mobile title: the game's story will see you traversing a wide variety of environments, from unforgiving deserts and lush jungles to massive castles and idyllic settlements. Naturally, the game rewards inquisitive exploration by placing many chests around the world for you to find.

Chests are rewards for traveling off the beaten path, so expect to have to stick to back roads and small pathways as you search for them all. As well as regular chests, each region of the game's world is home to three special chests that contain premium items and also boost your stats slightly when you find them. Here, we'll go over the locations of every one of these special chests in the game.

The first unlockable area in the game has some of the easiest chests to find. Here's where they all are:
The Eastern Heartlands are host to some of the game's oldest ruins - to find all the chests here, you'll have to examine them closely.
This beautiful, rocky forest will have you scrambling up boulders and looking between trees to find all of its hidden chests.
The Serene Forest is a charming, moonlit woodland. Surprisingly, it's also filled with some difficult platforming challenges.
This rocky canyon is home to the Sky Pirates. It's also home to some of the most unhelpful chest clues in the game.
