A new Tera Raid Battle Event was announced for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, featuring Garchomp, the Dragon/Ground pseudo-legendary, and Sylveon, the fairy evolution of Eevee. The limited time event will feature both Pokemon more frequently in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, allowing players to stock up on plentiful drops and difficult battles.
Tera Raid Battle Events typically last a couple of days and feature one or two Pokemon with capable move sets in either four, five, or seven-star raids. Players can either enter these Tera Raid battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet by either completing the game's main story or by link code from a friend.
Weird Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Glitch Makes Mudbray Keep Appearing in Tera Raids
The Pokemon Company and Game Freak announced its latest Tera Raid Battle Event which will feature both Garchomp and Sylveon, replacing the Valentine's Day Tandemaus Tera Raid Event which had players taking down the mouse duo for item drops including food items for sandwich making. The event will take place from February 17 until February 19, giving players the opportunity to battle and capture Garchomp and Sylveon in many different Terastallized forms. Thankfully both Pokemon will be available in both versions of the game, allowing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players the chance to take down both Pokemon regardless of which copy they have.
This marks the eleventh Tera Raid Battle Event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which all started with Eevee in November 2022 days after the release of the game. It also marks the first event to feature a dragon Pokemon since Hydreigon and Dragapult shared the Tera Raid spotlight earlier this year.
