If you’ve been waiting to buy a PC graphics card at more normal pricing, then check out Newegg’s latest promotion.
On Tuesday, the retailer kicked off a Bonanza(Opens in a new window) sales event, which is offering discounts across many desktop graphics cards(Opens in a new window) from both AMD and Nvidia. In some cases, the GPUs approach the original suggested retail pricing for the products.
The Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 3070 is at $599(Opens in a new window), which is close to the original $569 price.
It’s big brother, the Gigabyte Gaming OC GeForce RTX 3080, is now at $799(Opens in a new window), which isn’t far from the $749 original MSRP.
Meanwhile, the MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is at $499(Opens in a new window). The original starting price was at $439.
In addition, Newegg is offering discounts on motherboards and PC monitors, including a huge one on Gigabyte’s 48-inch OLED display, which is going for only $800.
Newegg is launching the event to encourage PC building and upgrading when the GPU market previously saw hugely inflated costs due to limited supplies. “Customers have been asking for discounts on gaming PC upgrades for a while, so we decided now to offer GPUs, motherboards and monitors at deep savings,” said Newegg CEO Anthony Chow in a statement.
”We lowered prices to help and reward customers who have been dreaming of building a new gaming PC or upgrading their PC this summer. Now is a great time to install new gaming PC components,” he added.
