Demand for GPUs seems to have cooled, but Newegg is doubling down on PC graphics card sales by launching a new site devoted entirely to selling the products.
The retailer today launched JustGPU.com(Opens in a new window), which is designed to make selecting the right desktop graphics card easier for novice PC builders.
“Customers are spending a lot of time researching throughout the internet for GPUs, including performance details and pricing,” said(Opens in a new window) Jim Tseng, Newegg’s director of product management. “We’re reducing the hassle and frustration for customers by providing a streamlined resource with this new personalized shopping site.”
The site, which is currently in beta, first informs visitors about the latest GPU deals at Newegg. Users can then view a list of top-selling graphics cards, including how each product performs on popular games, such as Call of Duty: Warzone, Cyberpunk 2077, and Halo Infinite.
As you can see, the site displays the frames per second for the game, based on the resolution and chipset the GPU is running. Another notable section to the site is called “Choose Your Fighter,” which allows you to pit one GPU against the another, and compare the specs and performance across several games in an easy-to-view format.
However, JustGPU.com does have one notable hole: It doesn't catalog older products such as Nvidia's RTX 2000 series, which is still on sale from Newegg. Instead, it only promotes the latest-generation graphics cards from Nvidia and AMD.
