Thanks to Reddit user fayt03, it has been discovered the Battleaxe, which can be dual-wielded, allows players to «fly» under certain circumstances with the Feather Cape. This flying is just an animation glitch accompanied by the Feather Fall buff, which negates all fall damage from the Feather Cape. This was originally done with sprints for shorter bursts but would reduce stamina. This method does not reduce stamina and only requires a flat or upward surface in the targeted direction when the Battleaxe secondary attack is used.
To craft a Battleaxe requires 30 Ancient Bark, 35 Iron, and four Leather Scraps. Higher-tier versions are made with the same numerical recipe but use rarer resources than the base form. The Feather Cape is crafted with ten Feathers, five Scale Hides, and 20 Refined Eitr. However, Refined Eitr can only be found in the Mistlands, so this movement tech can only be used once that biome is reached.
