Nintendo unleashed a brand-new gameplay trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, which offers a better look at the main cast of characters. The publisher announced Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes during a Nintendo Direct presentation this past February, treating fans of the series to a glimpse at an action-packed, musou-style Fire Emblem adventure. Notably, this particular project will return players to the world of 2019's Three Houses, with characters such as Claude, Dimitri, and Edelgard set to take center stage once again.
The original announcement for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes did not feature much in the way of story details. Details shared by Nintendo did confirm, however, that players can expect to embark on a different story within the Three Houses universe. And the wait to take that journey won't last for very long, either. The next Fire Emblem Warriors installment presently remains on track for a late June 2022 launch. Of course, Nintendo still has plenty to show off before the Three Hopes launch date arrives in a matter of months.

Today, April 12, Nintendo uploaded a three-minute gameplay trailer to show more of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes in action. The trailer teases the "Mysterious Mercenary," as the title suggests. However, the main cast of characters sit front and center as well, with protagonist Shez facing off against Byleth — aka the Ashen Demon. Three Houses heroes Claude, Dimitri, and Edelgard will join the chaos, too, according to the trailer, which also teases "three diverging paths." And said paths will align with each of the Three Houses — Scarlet Blaze, Azure Gleam, and Golden Wildfire.
