A job listing on the official ZeniMax Jobs website seems to indicate that developer id Software is working on another DOOM installment. DOOM as a series dates back to the early 1990s, originally launching in 1993 just one year after id introduced the world to the grandfather of first-person shooters, Wolfenstein. And while id buttressed the 2020 release with subsequent DOOM Eternal expansions and Horde Mode, franchise faithful remain as eager as ever to see what the development crew has in store next for the iconic Space Marine.
