This doesn't seem like a placeholder date, since it's not related to a particular quarter, and it also falls on a Friday. Video games typically release on Tuesdays or Fridays, so it adds up. It seems to be sticking to its initial location too, with the game taking place in Los Angeles. It is said to feature a number of locations, including Beverly Hills and Venice Beach.
