Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 1 is on its way this September. A remake of the original 2013 game, the upcoming title will feature improved gameplay, controls, performance, and accessibility options. And while not everyone is convinced that the remake is necessary, it at least comes with the promise of an eventual PC release.
In addition to the standard PS5 version of The Last of Us Part 1, fans can also choose between the Digital Deluxe and limited Firefly Edition. And while the latter sold out some time ago, The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog just announced a restock coming early next month.
The Last of Us Pre-Load Begins Today
Naughty Dog announced the restock over Twitter on Friday afternoon. Players will be able to pick it up at 12 AM Eastern/9 AM Pacific when the game releases on September 2. It will be available exclusively from the PlayStaion website and retails for around $99.99. Supplies will also be limited, so fans need to act quickly if they want to snag The Last of Us Part 1’s Firefly Edition for themselves.
The Firefly Edition comes in an exclusive SteelBook case and includes the game and all four volumes of The Last of Us: American Dreams prequel comic, which further explores the relationship between Ellie and Riley. The comics also feature new exclusive Firefly Edition cover art. Meanwhile, in-game rewards include early access to a variety of skills, upgrades, weapon skins, and more.
These include the Increased Crafting Speed and Increased Healing Speed Skills, and the 9mm Reload Speed and Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade.
