The Last of Us Part 1’s Firefly Edition is being resold on eBay for excessive prices after a restock of the special edition reportedly sold out in minutes on Friday.
Priced at $99.99 and sold exclusively in the US via PlayStation Direct, the first wave of pre-orders for the remake’s most expensive edition was snapped up in under an hour following the game’s announcement in June.
To coincide with the game’s release today, the Firefly Edition was restocked in the US at 12am ET, but it again sold out extremely quickly.
There’s since been a new wave of eBay listings for the product. 179 were available at the time of publication, with ‘buy it now’ prices ranging from $350-$600.
The Firefly Edition includes various in-game bonuses, a limited edition SteelBook case, and The Last of Us: American Dreams comics #1 – #4 with new cover art.

Announcing plans for the US restock last week, Naughty Dog said it’s hoping to be able to offer European players the chance to purchase the Firefly Edition too, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
VGC’s The Last of Us Part 1 review called the PS5 release “the definitive version of one of the best games ever”.
The title is also in development for PC, and while a release date has yet to be confirmed, one Naughty Dog employee has claimed it will arrive “very soon after” the PS5 version.
HBO recently showed off the first official footage from the TV adaptation of The Last of Us, which will air in 2023.
