Warning! Contains spoilers for My Hero Academia Chapter 352!
Of all the Heroes in My Hero Academia, Mineta is one of the least liked, and the manga’s latest chapter just showed a side of him that no one wants to see. The series’ author Kohei Horikoshi does have a fondness for Mineta, so perhaps it is unsurprising that he has received a bit more focus than some of the other side characters of the series. But what was revealed in this chapter was rather unexpected, even for Horikoshi.
Minoru Mineta is a student at UA in the same class as My Hero Academia’s main characters. He is largely a comic relief character, but he has played an integral role in many battles and received a certain amount of character development as well. However, his personality and character quirks have turned many fans against him. While manga other than My Hero Academia cast characters like Mineta in a goofier light, it's started to make readers more uncomfortable. Mineta is incredibly perverted, lusting after many of his female classmates. While generally his perverted nature is cast in a comedic light, many fans find these moments distasteful. Luckily these moments have decreased as the story has gone on, but Mineta’s unpopularity has not diminished. This all makes the opening of My Hero Academia’s latest chapter even more egregious.

At the beginning of chapter 352, the story flashes back to the boys in class 1-A all about to bathe. Although most of the partially clothed high schoolers are covered by sound effects and speech bubbles, Mineta alone is showing his bare behind to the readers. This is rather bizarre as there isn’t really a good reason to have the flashback
