Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson has confirmed that a spinoff script for the beloved sitcom does in fact exist. The hit ABC comedy series ran for eleven consecutive seasons before finally coming to a close in 2020. Throughout its impressive duration on primetime television, Modern Family managed to accumulate 22 Emmy Awards out of a total of 75 nominations and a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series (Musical or Comedy) in 2011.
