Tom Cruise is getting ready to do the impossible in new behind-the-scenes looks at .
Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning will be released in United States theaters in May 2025. The eighth film in the long-running spy franchise will see Cruise once again reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
On X, the official Mission: Impossible account shared a behind-the-scenes video that sees Cruise getting ready for a dangerous, water-based stunt. The video shows him suiting up and communicating with his team before he then steps into a pool.

Cruise also shared a photo on X that shows him underwater performing the stunt. He wrote, “The training and preparation we put into this film is a culmination of all before it. From the depths, to the skies, I can’t wait to share more with you.”
