Minecraft Player Shows Off Spectacular Monster House Build
Players have been known to make all sorts of incredible creations in Minecraft, and one player has done just that, constructing a haunted house based on the film Monster House. While numerous gamers have been showing off their creative flair in Minecraft over the past couple of weeks, this unique build definitely is notable.
Monster House is a 2006 animated movie produced by Sony Pictures Imageworks. As the title of the movie suggests, one of the film's main highlights was that the house across the street from the main protagonist would come to life, seemingly behaving like a monster. Recently, one fan decided to see what this monster house would look like in the blocky world of Minecraft.
Minecraft With Ultra Realistic Shader Looks Like Real Life
In a post on Reddit, the creation themed after the movie Monster House was shown off for gamers to see. According to the creator, Reddit user DrTurtle420d2, the design was based on the house possessed by the spirit of a lady known as Constance Nebbercracker. In the image, the haunted house was set on green grass with a blue background behind it. While this might not seem like the most ominous setting in Minecraft, the build created by the Reddit user still managed to look frightening.
One highlight of the monster house design included a front porch that had morphed into jaws lined with what looked like razor-sharp teeth. Beyond that, the two windows on the second level of the house glowed brightly, giving off the look of a pair of threatening eyes. Furthermore, the artist created two large arms connected to the side of the building, reminiscent of the ones seen in the movie, which allowed the monster house to move.
