While trying to survive in Minecraft Hardcore, one player built what could be the mode's biggest Iron Farm to date. Minecraft's Hardcore difficulty has remained a staple of the Java Edition for a little over 10 years, having first gone live in September 2011. Hardcore's premise works as expected in that it locks the sandbox title in hard difficulty and significantly increases the in-game challenge. Most notably, respawning is not possible if a player dies in tihs particular game mode.
