Even though it has a very blocky and unrealistic look, and the rules of gravity don't quite apply to the world, Minecraft is not what one would call a «trippy» title. There are some pretty weird or mind-bending video games out there which make Mojang's open-world sandbox IP look positively down-to-earth by comparison. That being said, the near-infinite number of things that can be created in the game means that it is entirely possible for someone to come along and really blow people's minds.
Reddit user FoxCuddles is an example of a Minecraft player who has the potential to mess with the perception of reality. In a recent clip, they can be seen moving about a small, bland room that contains some greenery in the corner. However, things soon change and the room suddenly becomes this vast space which seems to stretch on for all eternity. Essentially, what the player has done is turn this small and empty room into a hall of infinite mirrors, and it's quite a sight to behold. When they go into third-person view, their avatar can be seen repeated forever in this deceptive cube.

They were able to accomplish this by using Minecraft with ray tracing capabilities. Using an RTX graphics card, in FoxCuddles case a 3070, the lighting is vastly improved in the game, putting it almost in the same league as more realistic AAA games. It's also quite impressive that the user was able to capture this footage without a loss in performance or framerates.
