Ever since they were introduced into Minecraft in a major update in late 2019, the buzzy bees have charmed players, pollinating flowers and providing resources such as honey. Now one Minecraftfan has paid tribute to the buzzy bee mobs by designing a custom PC in the style of the bees, complete with honeycomb accents and 3D printed decorations.
Minecraft’s buzzy bees are passive mobs that were introduced in version 1.15, first included in Minecraft Snapshot 19W34A. Bees don’t hurt players unless the player attacks first, and there are good reasons to keep bees happy. They can be kept in beehives, and are used to produce honey and honeycomb ingredients using bottles or sheers, respectively. Budding Minecraft apiarists can find bees nesting near flower forests. Flowers can also be used to breed bees.

Posting to the /r/Minecraft Reddit community, a user named 1YardLoss shared their custom PC build, complete with photos showing the unique interior. It’s one of the latest custom PCs assembled by 1YardLoss, real name Joshua Wilkinson, who runs OddTech, a computer and keyboard business based in Texas. Earlier this year, he also wowed gamers with his Pokemon-themed custom PC build. This time, he’s drawn inspiration from Minecraft for his latest build.
The build uses a case by Cyberwood, with a design that prominently features hexagon shapes, selected for its resemblance to honeycombs. It is decorated with yellow LEDs and features liquid cooling, with fluid that resembles a warm honey color. But the centerpiece of this build is surely the selection of custom-made buzzy bees, with a large 3D printed bee sitting above the graphics card. There are also smaller bees decorated around
