We're just coming off what has been a pretty major weekend for Fortnite fans. Chapter 3 Season 2 launched on Saturday, and it brought in a lot of change with it. Since the new season has a war theme, Epic has neglected to flaunt it too much due to the real-life conflict going on in Ukraine right now. That's likely why there was no big event to mark the end of one season and the beginning of the next, and the studio has also pledged all money made through Fortnite for the first two weeks of the season to Ukrainians affected by the invasion.
The start of season two also ushered in the arrival of another Marvel hero. Dr. Strange has now entered The Loop as Fortnite's superhero roster continues to grow. The Sorcerer Supreme joins the likes of She-Hulk, Black Widow, and even DC heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman.

Dr. Strange won't be the last Marvel hero to become a part of Fortnite canon, not that anyone would have thought he would be. As for who the next one will be, that's currently anyone's guess. Shpeshal_Nick may well have shed a little light on that. Nick has a pretty good track record when it comes to Fortnite info ahead of time, and has revealed sources presumably close to the game have told them Miles will be joining the game in the future.
What isn't clear is when exactly Fortnite will be getting its second Spider-Man. It's assumed Morales will swing onto the island at some point this season since Prowler, who is the young hero's uncle in the PlayStation game sporting Miles's name, was added alongside Dr. Strange.
