While Mass Effect is a series that takes fans to an immensely deep galaxy filled with rich lore and lets them play through a story about saving said galaxy, a lot of the franchise's fans are infatuated with it because of the companion characters that join Shepard aboard the Normandy. Some of these companions can act as romance options in Mass Effect, while others remain firm friends. However, all of Mass Effect's companions can be taken out on missions, and most are appreciated heavily by fans.
One fan has taken their love for Mass Effect's squad mates to the next level, creating impressive tributes of the characters in stained glass. So far, the creator has put together three unique art pieces depicting some of the companions from both Mass Effect 1 and 2. Beginning the collection was Garrus, one of the Mass Effect's most popular characters and one of the few companions that a player can take along through all three games. The former C-Sec officer has had plenty of art pieces made prior to this, such as one that imagined Garrus as a Star Wars Jedi.

Second after Garrus was Mordin, the Salarian scientist partly responsible for one of the most devastating moments in Mass Effect lore. By adapting the genophage, Mordin mostly stopped the Krogan race from being able to reproduce. Despite this controversial aspect of the character, he remains one of the most beloved Mass Effect companions from the second game, and Mordin's choices in Mass Effect 2 and 3 may impact Mass Effect 4.
