Marvel Studios officially announces a Marvel Zombies animated Disney+ show. Thanks to the outlet of Disney's streaming service, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has expanded in a massive way during Phase 4.

Marvel Studios is still making plenty of movies like Black Widow and Eternals, but Disney+ offered the MCU a chance to explore long-form storytelling with TV. This included putting supporting characters like Scarlet Witch and Sam Wilson at the forefront of their own stories.
