Insomniac Games' 2020 superhero hit Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is set to come to PC for the first time later this year, as confirmed by PlayStation. The announcement follows the reveal of a PC release for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered at PlayStation's June 2 State of Play showcase.
The Marvel's Spider-Man titles are the latest PlayStation exclusives to be getting PC releases, following previous titles such as God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone. The move is in line with a statement made by Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan at a Sony investor meeting last month, in which he revealed PlayStation aims to release half of its games on PC and mobile devices by 2025. This is down to the studio feeling that it had been restricting itself to a narrow portion of the gaming market in the past by only allowing its first-party titles on PlayStation devices.

Whereas Marvel's Spider-ManRemastered had a trailer from Marvel Entertainment during State of Play to announce its arrival on PC in August, the news of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales' PC port came in an official PlayStation Blog post. Spider-Man: Miles Morales was a launch title for PS5 back in 2020 and was praised for showcasing the potential shown in Sony's latest hardware. The post hasn't given a solid release date for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC, but has given a release window of fall 2022, alongside the promise of further updates on its PC improvements.
