Spider-Man's original Marvel Cinematic Universe suit will soon come to Marvel's Avengers, but the game's fanbase is divided by the addition. Crystal Dynamics' cooperative superhero game was highly criticized at launch, and so far the developer has been unable to successfully revitalize the title. While a rework update and 2022 roadmap for Marvel's Avengerswill apparently arrive soon, the game's playerbase is less than thrilled with the state of the game.
Marvel's Avengers was divisive at launch, with players praising the game's combat system and story but criticizing its technical issues, microtransactions and lack of endgame content. Despite receiving more than a year of free post-launch updates, the game still suffers from these same problems. Following a November 30 update, which added a new raid and brought Spider-Man to PlayStation consoles, many players believed that support for the title would soon cease. Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that a new roadmap will be released in the near future, however, and additional cosmetics like Spider-Man's Far From Home MCU outfit have been added on a near-weekly basis.

Now Marvel's Avengers has revealed the Spider-Man: Homecoming Outfit on Twitter, but many fans are not pleased by the announcement. The suit reflects the wall-crawling hero's primary MCU design, which was introduced in Captain America: Civil War and worn throughout Spider-Man: Homecoming.
