The sword and sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian may have an Avengers team, but he's officially jumped the Marvel ship and has found a new home with Titan Comics. Despite Conan's role in books like Savage Avengers, Conan and other related properties will be exclusively published at Titan going forward.
Conan the Barbarian was originally created by writer Robert E. Howard who wrote the character in a series of stories for Weird Tales magazine. Since his introduction, Conan has been the star of a number of film, television, and comic adaptations. After losing the rights in the early 2000s, Conan the Barbarian returned to Marvel in 2018, and was given multiple series and featured in two volumes of Savage Avengers. However, Marvel announced in May that they had lost the rights to the character and that Conan would be leaving the universe once again.

As the barbarian prepares to make his exit from Marvel Comics, it appears he already has a home waiting for him with a new publisher. In an exclusive announcement, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Titan Comics is partnering with Heroic Signature, the current holders of the Conan the Barbarian copyrights. Not only will Titan be the home for future Conan the Barbarian comics, but other series based on Robert E. Howard characters such as Solomon Kane, Dark Agnes, and Kull the Conqueror. The deal also includes graphic novels and a remastered version of Conan's archives "including the omnibus program previously published by Marvel Comics."
