While much of the horror in Martha Is Dead is the slow-burn psychological variety, there are some scenes - including one very early on - that can be very hard to watch. Shortly after the game's intro, you'll be thrust into a nightmare of Giulia running through the woods. In the first section, you'll need to run down each fork in the road selecting the correct words to form a sentence. The first sentence is "Martha has lost her soul." After the cutscene plays, you'll be back in the woods - the second sentence is "I stole her identity."
Upon completing both phrases, the dream takes Giulia back to the lakeshore next to Martha's body. Using a razor blade, Giulia cuts off Martha's face to wear as a mask. It's tough to watch, so here's the order of inputs you need to get past it:
