The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles ushered in the ninth generation of gaming when they launched in 2020. Numerous video game consoles have hit the market since the 1970s, and with gaming as lucrative as it is, it's highly unlikely traditional console gaming is going anywhere any time soon. Someone that's been gaming for the past few decades has likely amassed a sizable selection of consoles at this point, and those that don't want to keep them in storage may wind up throwing them away.
So was the case of Reddit user Duckindafed's girlfriend's aunt. According to Duckindafed, their girlfriend's aunt was about to throw away multiple retro gaming consoles, but the Reddit user managed to save them from the trash heap. The images shared by Duckindafed show that the haul includes a whopping three Xbox 360 consoles, an Xbox One, a Kinect camera, an original Xbox console, a Nintendo 64, and various controllers.

Duckindafed tested all the retro consoles, and as it turns out, all of them are in working order except for the white Xbox 360. As one might have guessed from that kind of Xbox 360 model, it has been afflicted with the dreaded Red Ring of Death. The good news is that there are two other Xbox 360 consoles that do work, plus the Xbox One is backward compatible with a lot of Xbox 360 games anyway.
The haul mainly included retro gaming consoles, but there were a couple of video games available in the mix as well.
