Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were the first Love Is Blind season 2 couple to get engaged, but they've struggled with open dialogue ever since. When it came to the reveal, they couldn't have been more enamored with each other. When the honeymoon came into play, things got a little rockier. Danielle got food poisoning, which wasn't any specific party's fault, but this led to Nick going to a group event on his own. As mentioned, Nick didn't have any other significant connections in the pods. The event was an opportunity for many of the participants to come face to face with the one who got away, but not for Nick. That didn't stop a very queasy Danielle from assuming the worst. She went so far as to spy on the group event from her balcony and was clearly anxious. When Nick returned, she confronted him, asking if anything happened with another woman. Exasperated, he said that absolutely nothing was happening. He also stated that he would have rather been with Danielle. The erratic outburst made fans think that Love Is Blind's Danielle and Nick won't last.
