Lost Ark has hit another major Milestone. After shooting to second place on Steam’s list of all-time concurrent users just days after launching, Lost Ark as just reported it’s surpassed 20 million global users.
Amazon Games and developer Smilegate issued a press release confirming Lost Ark added 4.7 million users just three days after launching in North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. Nearly a month after launch, that number has grown to more than 10 million, doubling Lost Ark’s total global users. And, according to Smilegate CEO Wongil Chi, that number “is steadily increasing.”

It's not hard to see why. Lost Ark is both a massive commercial success and a critical one, with a score of 82 on OpenCritic and 81 on Metacritic. Our own Harry Alston gave Lost Ark a perfect five out of five in his review, calling it "a truly polished MMO experience,” although not a perfect one.
The initial rush of users completely rammed Lost Ark’s servers, and while North and South America have largely calmed down, Europe’s central server is still a little too congested. This has resulted in several issues with premium time and login queues that have largely been resolved, although some server performance issues remain.
