The first competitive season of PvP in Lost Ark is approaching after a massive update was sent through.
The patch itself has prepared the game for PvP battles that matter. They are available but don't have much weight behind them. Soon, there will be rewards and currency that can be spent at a vendor.
The PvP vendor is on its way, and players are ready for their battles to mean something more in the long run. This is looking like nothing but a good thing for the MMORPG.
The big March update for Lost Ark has launched. There are multiple end-game raids, new story quests, a limited Arkesia Grand Prix racing event, and the first season of player vs. player competition.
The season begins later in the month, but the update ensures everything is in place. As soon as it kicks off, players will be able to queue up for Team Deathmatch and increase their Competitive Match Average Score.
Players will have a PvP rank that can go up and down throughout the season. The rank at the end of the season will determine a player's level of rewards when it is over.
Rewards for PvP weren't available before, meaning there was no PvP Vendor. With the season beginning soon, players will begin to collect the specific PvP in-game currency.
That currency will be spendable at a PvP Vendor when they open up shop in Lost Ark. Surely, there will be a ton of valuable rewards in the PvP Vendor's inventory whenever the feature goes live.
It appears that Coins of Courage will be the PvP currency. The PvP Vendor will then accept that currency in exchange for the rewards being sold. These coins are given to PvP players who have an item level above 302.
