It’s no secret that Lost Ark’s combat is some of the best out there in the MMORPG genre, and its group content highlights this extremely well. The first Abyss Raid, Argos, is an eight-man triple-phase raid, with each phase requiring a progressively higher item level to enter. It's like an extra long guardian raid split up into three parts, each of which takes roughly as long as a regular guardian raid.

You can complete this Abyss Raid once a week per character to get some sweet loot, namely “Argos’ Blood,” which can be used to craft two different Legendary sets with some very nice set bonus at two and five items equipped. Now let's take a look at Argos’ phase one mechanics.
All you need to unlock the first phase of Argos is an item level of 1,370 (phase two requires 1,385 and phase three requires 1,400).
Once this item level has been achieved, you’ll automatically receive a guide quest to unlock Abyss Raids which is super easy to complete, and then you’re set. You can either queue up with a premade group of eight players or just click “matchmaking” to let the game find a group for you.
Though Argos has his fair share of standard mechanics, his heavy-hitters mostly belong to his special sun and moon mechanics. At the start of the encounter, your eight-man group, which is already split into two parties of four people, will be assigned sun and moon affixes by Argos. One party will be designated moon, and the other, sun. This is the most quintessential aspect of this phase so always pay attention to which affix you have.
If you’re sun, you’ll have a yellowish-gold circle beneath you, and you can safely stand in Argos’ sun abilities. If you’re moon, you’ll have a purple icon
