There are a variety of starships that can be unlocked and used to explore the galaxy in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, including Darth Vader's TIE Fighter. There's a hologram puzzle in the Great Temple on Yavin 4 that can be completed to unlock the starship. However, before Darth Vader's TIE Fighter can be unlocked, players will need to be able to travel to Yavin 4 in Free Play.
To unlock any area in Free Play, players need to complete main story missions. Yavin 4 will be accessible after progressing in A New Hope in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. If the puzzle isn't completed in Story Mode, players can travel back to Yavin 4 at any time in Free Play to unlock Darth Vader's TIE Fighter.
