Knights of the Round Table, gather around. There’s another delay creeping around the corner, pushing back the latest adventure for the valiant heroes. King Arthur: Knights Tale, a tactical role-playing game, has a new release date of April instead of its prior March release date after another delay. It’s another change in a string of pushbacks, but one that will ensure the game is as ready to ship as possible. After all, no one likes an unfinished game.
According to the developers, King Arthur: Knights Tale is “mostly finished and ready for release” in terms of content and gameplay. However, issues like localization tasks and voice acting prompted the developers to delay the game less than a month before its release to improve some of the weak spots. After more testing, this should give players “the best and smoothest launch experience possible.”
In regards to the delay, the developers posted the following message on Steam: “It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but still, we think it was the right one, as our intention is to release a game we can be proud of. We’ll use the additional time to iron everything out properly. At the same time, we’d like to apologize for making you wait (again) a tiny bit longer, and would like to thank you all for your continued support.”
Currently, King Arthur: Knights Tale is available to purchase on Steam for Early Access, granting players a preview into the Avalonian world.
