Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game Coming in 2023
One of the more surprising announcements to come from Gamescom Opening Night Live was the existence of .
The 1988 cult classic film is being adapted into an asymmetrical multiplayer game that will pit humans against Klowns in 3v7 matches across randomly generated maps. The game is set to release next year in early 2023, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
“It’s a total bucket list item to get to work on the next chapter of such an iconic horror IP like, especially getting the chance to partner with the original creators of the film and pair them with an incredibly talented development team like Teravision,”lead developer Randy Greenback said. “I can’t wait for everyone to see what rockstars they are and the craziness we’re bringing to the genre.”
