Warning! This post contains spoilers for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4.
Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4 introduced audiences to the Path's headquarters led by O'Shea Jackson's Roken, a role that was somewhat lessened by the rumors of who Jackson would be playing. The episode saw Kenobi taken to Jabiim, to the HQ of the anti-Imperial network set up in episode 3. Upon healing in a bacta tank, Kenobi was introduced to Roken, the man seemingly in charge of the Path.
This character was played by O'Shea Jackson, one of the main new castings that were reported during the series' production. Unfortunately, this reveal and the character's impact were lessened by rumors and speculation. That's not to say O'Shea Jackson is bad in the role, his performance is great, and surely he will have more time to shine in the final two episodes.

Still, the rumors around his character from Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 led to the reveal feeling slightly underwhelming. The main rumor of who Jackson would be playing in Obi-Wan Kenobi was none other than Quinlan Vos, the Jedi mentioned by Kenobi in episode 3. Quinlan Vos was a member of the Jedi Order during the prequel era and was revealed to be helping Force-sensitive children escape the Empire using the Path. Naturally then, rumors and speculation began that Jackson would be playing a live-action version of Quinlan Vos, given the similarities in appearance between the two. Also, it would make sense that Quinlan would appear, given the mention of his character in Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3 and O'Shea Jackson having yet to appear in the series at that point.
Another thing that stoked the rumors was Jackson's own comments on the role.
