Ahead of the show's season finale, which dropped today on Hulu, Screen Rant spoke exclusively with director and executive producer Jon Cassar to discuss The Orville season 3. He shared thoughts on the jump to Hulu, enlisting Dolly Parton for a cameo, the show's Disney+ debut, and the future of the 24 franchise.
Screen Rant: Well, Jon, great to get to chat with you again for The Orville. This season has just blown me away with every episode.
Jon Cassar: I guess we weren't exaggerating when we said it'll be worth the wait.
No, you really weren't! Last time I talked with you guys, you were very eager about it. What has it been like for you seeing the responses after this long wait?
Jon Cassar: It's been so satisfying, it's been so great. It's just reminding us again what good work everyone did on the show and that we were right. It took so long to do this season, just because of COVID mostly, and the way it worked out, it was really exciting to see that finally people got to see it.
