New audio files reportedly datamined in MultiVersus appear to suggest that the Joker is coming to the game, and will be voiced by Mark Hamill.
Twitter user LaisulMV claimed to have discovered an Announcer Pack for the game containing numerous lines spoken by the Joker, which can be listened to via the tweet embedded below.
The voice actor in these lines, which appear to have been newly recorded for MultiVersus, is almost definitely Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, who’s voiced the Joker in numerous animated shows and movies since 1992.
Although an Announcer Pack isn’t the same as a fighter’s spoken lines, every Announcer Pack in the game to date is based on one of the existing fighters. As such, if the Joker Announcer Pack is legitimate, that means he will almost certainly be coming as a playable fighter too.

Hamill first portrayed the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series in 1992, and has continued to voice him in a variety of animated projects since.
MultiVersus wouldn’t even mark the first time Hamill’s voiced the Joker in a Warner Bros video game – he voiced the iconic villain in the Arkham series of Batman games, as well as Lego DC Super-Villains.
MultiVersus’ first season is currently underway. Since it started, it’s seen the addition of LeBron James, Rick & Morty and Gizmo from Gremlins as playable characters, with Stripe from Gremlins and DC antihero Black Adam still to come.
A datamine of a recent update also uncovered voice lines for Beetlejuice and the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz, suggesting they may be added during Season 1 too.
