Gunn is currently one of the busiest filmmakers working today. Still fresh off his DCEU debut, The Suicide Squad, and its subsequent spinoff series Peacemaker, which comes to HBO Max on January 13, the director will be returning to the MCU to complete his Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy while simultaneously filming a holiday special for Disney+.
