Arguably, the Epic Games Store is most known for offering many of its games for free, ranging from your favorite triple-A game to the indie that snuck under everyone’s radar. This week, the Epic Games Store is offering three more free games for players to pick: Iratus: Lord of the Dead, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, and Geneforge I – Mutagen. And they’re available now.
The first free game on the Epic Games Store is Iratus: Lord of the Dead, a turn-based RPG that takes place in a gothic and fantastical universe. In it, you lead an army of the undead to assist a necromancer who’s trying to reach the surface world. You can create the army of the living dead of your dreams, with 19 different types of servants and the ability to craft more minions from the bodies of your fallen enemies. How bleak.
Meanwhile, Hood: Outlaws and Legends is a PvPvE game where you have to outplay rival gangs in a medieval universe. Partake in heists, move in stealth, and steal treasures to come out on top. Two teams of four players participate in the heist in environments patrolled by ferocious guards and monsters. It’s a fresh take on the medieval universe, and you can even gain perks, weapons, and more.
Finally, Geneforge I: Mutagen is a “unique, open-ended fantasy RPG in an alien land.” You’ll create an army of mutant aliens to take over a forbidden island full of loot, treasures, and powerful beings. All of these games are available to download for free on the Epic Games Store until July 7. Two more games are currently listed to go free next week, Ancient Enemy and Killing Floor 2, which will be available from July 7 to July 14. Head to the Epic Games Store to download some free games before these offers end.
