iPhone 14 Pro could be getting another subtle yet crucial update that could shush Android fanboys! It seems that Apple has taken note of that development and is now coming up with an update on this front. The iPhone 14 Pro will have slimmer side bezels this year than the iPhone 13 Pro, which is going to make it look more modern than ever. This comes courtesy of a new leaked CAD render.
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are getting some serious cosmetic treatment up front this year. The new renders, courtesy of tipster IceUniverse, suggests that the iPhone 14 Pro series will have slightly slimmer bezels when compared to those on the iPhone 13 Pro. The borders are very slim and with the conventional “bathtub” notch gone, it is going to liberate more screens pace than before. That said, there is one concern that could annoy may iPhone users.
While the removal of the notch is certainly welcome, the new solution seems to eat into the viewing area more than before. The pill-shaped cutout is bigger than its notched version and so is the cutout for the front camera. In comparison, the iPhone 13 Pro’s smaller notch seems less intrusive into the display area.
This year, Apple is said to stick to the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen sizes for all its models. This means the 5.4-inch Mini version is gone; there could be no more iPhone 14 Mini. Instead, Apple will have something called the iPhone 14 Max with the same 6.7-inch display as the Pro Max variant.
